The Quiral Project is a joint initiative of the Vila Casas Foundation and the Centre for Studies on Science, Communication and Society at Pompeu Fabra University.
Each year, a specific health issue is analysed examining public information on the topic (across mass media and social networks) and investigating the information needs of the public via a survey.
The research is complemented by meetings that bring together various communication actors: healthcare professionals, journalists, institutional communicators, patient and consumer associations, and representatives from both administration and industry, among others.
