Holly Teichholtz leads the Foundation’s efforts to share how it is driving tangible progress toward a cure for Parkinson’s disease.
As head of the Marketing and Communications team, she oversees the development of clear, engaging messages that transform complex scientific topics into accessible stories, visuals, and campaigns that reach the audiences who need them most — patients, families, researchers, and clinical care providers. Through publications, marketing initiatives, media relations, creative assets, and both virtual and in-person forums, her team communicates the Foundation’s high-impact scientific agenda and highlights the many ways Parkinson’s community members are working to accelerate breakthroughs.
Holly joined the Foundation in 2005 as Communications Officer. Her prior career in science communications included positions at The Rockefeller University and the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research (Massachusetts Institute of Technology). A graduate of Boston Latin School and Barnard College, she earned a B.Mus from Boston University’s School of Music, where she studied vocal performance.
She also serves on the Community Advisory Board of New York Public Radio.
