Michael Peterlunger has a master in psychology and is a member of the staff/an internal advisor of the CEO of the University Hospital Vienna in Vienna, Austria. He is in charge of the International affairs of the University Hospital Vienna, eg representing Vienna on the steering committees of EUHA (European University Hospital Alliance) and ECHO (European Children’s Hospital Organisation).
Within these collaborations areas of special interest are rare diseases, benchmarking, innovation and the organisation of international academic medical collaborations itself. His other tasks are primarily in the area of the design and ongoing organisational development of the new comprehensive center structure model of the University Hospital Vienna and the Medical University of Vienna.
