Tora Vinci is the Global Communications Lead at Cleveland Clinic. Vinci is a senior member of the Corporate Communications team, leading strategic communications and public relations efforts for key business areas and global expansion initiatives. She oversees cross-functional team meetings across Cleveland Clinic’s global locations to ensure aligned media outreach and communication strategy.
Tora led the communications and public relations strategy in the lead-up to and during the opening of Cleveland Clinic London. She partnered with internal teams and a UK-based agency to develop a robust, integrated earned media strategy aimed at building brand awareness for Cleveland Clinic’s presence in London. She played a pivotal role in promoting Cleveland Clinic’s groundbreaking achievements, including the first uterus transplant and the delivery of the first baby from a transplanted uterus in the U.S.
Prior to Cleveland Clinic, Vinci spent seven years with the Cleveland Cavaliers, primarily with the Basketball Communications team, where she was responsible for writing game notes, press releases, and coordinating media requests for players, coaches, and general managers.
Vinci was named to the WISE Cleveland board in 2010 and served on the WISE WithIn Mentoring national committee for three years.
A native of Westlake, Ohio, Vinci attended Eastern Michigan University on a swimming scholarship, competing for the varsity Eagles all four years, serving as co-captain her senior year, and earning her B.S. in marketing.
