Carlo Martini is Associate Professor in Logic and Philosophy of Science at Vita Salute San Raffaele University in Milan, Italy. He has taught at the University of Tilburg (Netherlands), the University of Bayreuth (Germany) and the University of Helsinki (Finland). His most recent project PERITIA, Policy, Expertise and Trust, funded by the European Research Council, looked at the phenomenon of scientific disinformation in the digital world. For the past three years he has directed the (Dis)Information in Schools project, which studies information and disinformation processes in school-age youth. His most recent articles include “How different incentives reduce scientific misinformation online” (Harvard Misinformation Review) and “Lateral reading and monetary incentives to spot disinformation about science” (Nature Scientific Reports).
