Julien Poulain has been Communications Manager at EURORDIS-Rare Diseases Europe since September 2022. EURORDIS is a leading non-profit alliance representing over 1,000 rare disease patient organisations, working to improve the lives of more than 30 million people affected by rare diseases across Europe. In this role, Julien is responsible for the strategic oversight and implementation of a wide range of communication initiatives, including the development of news articles, press releases, grassroots advocacy campaigns, and the production of the Rare on Air podcast series. 

Before joining EURORDIS, Julien worked at the NHS Confederation in London, where he played a role in designing and delivering communication and public affairs strategies that raised awareness of the policies and resources necessary for National Health Service (NHS) organisations to provide high-quality, universal healthcare across the UK’s health system.
