Korinna Hennig is editor at North German Radio (NDR Info), a broadcasting organization under public law. Before dedicating to science journalism, she worked as a political correspondent and reporter as well as literary critic in the cultural department at NDR Info. By now, she is team leader of the science department with a focus on health and medicine issues.  

During the COVID pandemic, she was host and editor of the podcast “Das Coronavirus Update” with more than 140 million retrievals. She and here team were awarded by several institutions for their podcast, among others with the Grimme Online Award, the Award of the Federal Press Conference and the Georg Holtzbrinck Prize for Science Journalism.  

Since then she also works as a speaker and lecturer on her favorite topic Science Communication, with a special focus on misconceptions, communication errors and misinformation.
