Endocrinologist at Vall d’Hebron Hospital since 2019. Previously I conducted my PhD at Vall d’Hebron Research Institute (from 2016 to 2019) which was focused on diabetic complications, specifically diabetic retinopathy. At 2019 I started the coordination of the Diabetes Day Care Hospital and the Diabetes Technology Unit. Since then more than a 1000 CGM (Continuous Glucose Monitoring) and more than 200 insulin pumps have been initiated. Moreover, in the recent years, we have implemented the Smart Diabetes Hospital project conceived to manage diabetes care in hospitalized patients, achieving significant clinical results.
