Valeria Román

Valeria Román has a degree in Communication Sciences from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. She specialized through the WHO medical journalism programs in Switzerland in 2003 and in science journalism from MIT/Harvard University, United States, in 2004 and 2005. She was vice-president of the World Federation of Science Journalists. She co-founded and was the first president of the Argentine Network of Scientific Journalism (RADPC). She received Konex diploma awards in 2007 and 2017 as one of 100 journalism personalities in Argentina.
