Angelina Kariakina – is a Ukrainian journalist, documentary filmmaker and media manager. She is co-founder of Public Interest Journalism Lab and research of the Reckoning Project. She is currently working on the documentary: “Mariupol, Aleppo, Grozny’ about the deliberate tactics to attack maternity wards in the war zones.
She has reported on Ukrainian political and social affairs, including the Revolution of Dignity and the Russian invasion of the Luhansk and Donetsk regions for Euronews’ Kyiv bureau. She conducted award-winning investigative reporting for Hromadske, Ukraine’s major
independent media outlet, where she was the editor-in-chief for three years. From 2020 to 2022, she worked on creating
the multimedia news service of the Ukrainian Public Broadcaster Suspilne as the editor-in-chief and later as the chief
producer of news programming. Advisor to the Chair of the Board of Suspilne from 2024. She is a member of the European Broadcasting Union News Committee.
