Raquel Sans i Duran is the anchor and editor of 3Cat’s flagship evening news programme, Telenotícies Vespre, Catalonia’s leading television news broadcast. She is one of the most recognised journalists in Catalan television news.
Born in Barcelona in 1974, she holds a degree in Journalism from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Throughout most of her career, she has worked in the News Division of TV3, where she has anchored various news programmes and hosted numerous special news broadcasts. From 2014 to 2017, she served as TV3’s Washington correspondent.
She is widely respected for her journalistic rigour, credibility, empathy and extensive professional experience, making her one of the most highly regarded television journalists in Catalonia.
