Timo started his career as a screenwriter for TV shows, before working as a script consultant for many feature films, documentaries and series. As creative consultant he worked for German broadcasters like ZDF, KiKA, RTL or rbb. He is a development producer at the production company UFA Fiction where he is involved in the development of feature films and shows like DISKO 76 or the award-winning medical anthology hit series CHARITÉ.
Furthermore, Timo is professor for screenwriting and dramaturgy at Film University Babelsberg, Germany’s oldest and biggest film school.
