In today’s fragmented and fast-moving political and digital landscape, choosing where—and whether—to maintain a presence on social media has become a strategic decision for health institutions. Effective communication depends not only on reaching the right audience, but also on doing so in spaces that align with institutional values, goals, and capacities. In this panel, we will hear from leaders of social media platforms, heads of communication from health institutions that made different choices about their presence or absence in this media, and experts in health communication as they explore key questions on this matter.
